Srinagar, 05 Sept: Dr. Bilal Ahmad Mir, a dedicated medical professional along wth leader Shiraz Malik social and political activist has officially filed his nomination for the Khanyar constituency representing the Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party today at the District Commissioner’s office in Srinagar.
In a statement to the media following his nomination, Dr. Bilal Mir emphasized that this moment is not merely about seeking election but also serves as a complaint against politicians who have historically made promises without delivering results. He expressed his frustration with the “wait and watch” approach that has characterized past political commitments, stating, “My belief is to work and act.”
Dr. Mir further articulated that this election transcends basic infrastructure issues such as roads, water, and electricity; it encompasses a broader spectrum of needs that the community has been waiting to address. He urged the electorate to consider their vote carefully, saying, “So my request is to people to vote for bat, vote for change,” symbolizing his commitment to transformative action within the constituency.
