Annual Posak Bandi of Makhdoom Sahib observed in Srinagar

Srinagar, Aug 18 (KB): Annual Posak Bandi of Makhdoom Sahib, Sultan-ul-Arifeen Makhdoomi was observed today with religious fervor and reverence in Srinagar.

Huge gathering of devotees from the region flocked to shrine to participate in the event that has a deep spiritual significance for the community.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohammad Ashiq Wani, Administrator of Waqf Board Makhdoom Sahib, informed the news aggregator—Kashmir Bulletin (KB) that extensive arrangements have been made to ensure the smooth conduct of Urs Mubarak.

“We have ensured all necessary arrangements, including security, sanitation, and other logistical support, are in place for the convenience of the devotees,” he said adding the board is committed to preserving the sanctity of the event and facilitating spiritual needs of all coming to pay their respect.

Patiently, this Posak Bandi ceremony is an annual ritual of great repute that represents a spiritual legacy of Kashmir and the timeless legacy left by Makhdoom Sahib.

One of the devotees told KB, the blessings of Makhdum Sahab show us a way out even from the darkest times and our paths are lit with wisdom and peace.—(KB)
