Mirwaiz commends police for action against drug menace

Srinagar, Dec 2: Kashmir Mirwaiz Umar Farooq lauded the role of Jammu Kashmir Police for their drive against the inter-state durg network.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said that the role of the police is laudable the way they have been taking action against the drug peddlers.

He said for the past 3 weeks ‘we have been witnessing police arresting drug peddlers and attaching their properties.’

Mirwaiz said people will always support the police if they work in the interest of the society. He said there is no denying the fact that police have been initiating stringent action against the drug menace that has engulfed the Kashmir Valley.

“This drug trafficking network must be curbed and we support police for their active role,” he said.
