The pulse of Varmul Gindo 2025 continues to energize Baramulla, drawing massive participation and growing crowds with each passing day. On Thursday, the excitement peaked as two high-octane matches unfolded at the town’s premier sports venues.
At Showkat Ali Stadium, a gripping hockey battle between Gen Bickram Club and Khelo India Centre Club featured 28 skilled players showcasing their prowess. Nearly 200 spectators filled the stands, their cheers matching the intensity on the field.
Simultaneously, anticipation surged at the GDC Ground, where UFC and City FC prepared to clash in a much-awaited football match set for a 5:30 PM kickoff. With 24 players ready to battle it out and over 250 spectators already in attendance, the venue buzzed with energy.
With 52 athletes participating across the two events and a total audience exceeding 500, today’s matches underscore Baramulla’s rising enthusiasm for sports. Varmul Gindo has firmly cemented its place as a symbol of youth engagement, community pride, and the transformative power of sport.
