Srinagar Mar 18(TKD) – Chinar Valley Youth Trust successfully organized a Mega Awareness Camp in Chattabal, focusing on empowering marginalized communities, including Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Backward Classes (BC) in Jammu and Kashmir. The event saw an overwhelming response, particularly from the youth, who showed keen interest in government-sponsored loan schemes designed to promote self-reliance and entrepreneurship.
Chairperson Shiraz Malik, while addressing the attendees, highlighted the importance of these financial aid programs. “We educated participants about various government loan schemes that offer financial support at nominal interest rates. These schemes provide aspiring entrepreneurs an opportunity to start their own businesses, paving the way for economic growth and independence. Many attendees were unaware of these opportunities, and our initiative helped bridge this knowledge gap,” he stated.
The initiative aimed at ensuring that underprivileged communities have access to vital information, resources, and guidance to enhance their livelihoods. Chinar Valley Youth Trust reaffirmed its commitment to uplifting marginalized sections of society, emphasizing that such awareness programs are a crucial step toward self-sufficiency and economic empowerment in Jammu and Kashmir-(TKD)
