Srinagar, 17 October :- In a joint effort to promote sustainable agriculture, the Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) and Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Baramulla organized a Field Day event centered on the use of nano fertilizers. The event brought together local farmers to discuss and learn about the benefits of these innovative fertilizers in boosting crop yield and improving soil health.
During the event, experts from IFFCO and KVK Baramulla explained how nano fertilizers, with their precise nutrient delivery system, can enhance plant growth and increase agricultural productivity. They emphasized the importance of adopting sustainable farming practices and highlighted the potential of nanotechnology in agriculture.
One of the key topics discussed was the use of NPK consortia in onion seedling production. Farmers were educated on how this soil-enriching solution can further enhance crop resilience and overall yield.
This collaboration between IFFCO and KVK Baramulla represents a significant step towards agricultural innovation in the region. By educating farmers on modern, eco-friendly techniques, the event contributes to both increased productivity and long-term environmental sustainability.
