Srinagar, July 7(TKD):
Putting an end to speculations over the extension of summer vacations, the Jammu and Kashmir Education Minister Sakina Itoo announced today that all schools falling under municipal limits across all districts will reopen tomorrow, July 8.
The Minister confirmed that schools from primary to class 12th will resume normal functioning with revised school timings set from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM in view of the ongoing heatwave.
“There will be no further extension in the summer break. All schools within municipal areas must resume classes as scheduled,” Itoo stated, ensuring that the Education Department is closely monitoring weather conditions and school preparedness.
This announcement comes amid public discussions on whether extreme temperatures would warrant a longer break. However, the government has decided to resume academic activities with adjusted timing to ensure student safety…(TKD)
