Engineering student of Haril mawer dies after drowning in canal in Rafiabad

Baramulla, Aug 18: In a tragic incident, a 23 yrs old Engineering student reportedly died on Sunday after drowning in the canal in chijhama Area of Baramulla Rafiabad.

The deceased 23 yrs old man has been identified as javid Ahmad shiekh nick name shiekh Raja son of mohd Ayoub shiekh of shiekhpora village.

As per reports, the boy had gone to take a bath in the canal . But unfortunately he slipped dragged into the deep water of the canal.

After getting information the local police along SDRF team reached the spot and initiated a rescue operation. They after a while found the body, fished it out of the water and sent to local hospital for legal formalities.(API)
