C S Atal Dulloo Reviews Progress of JK Samadhan, Aims for Enhanced Grievance Redressal in J&K

Srinagar, July 19(KD): Chief Secretary Sh. Atal Dulloo recently reviewed the progress of JK Samadhan, a key good governance project aimed at improving public grievance redressal mechanisms in Jammu and Kashmir. The initiative, launched in partnership with BISAG-N, focuses on providing a multilingual, AI-based platform for citizens to register complaints and track their resolution.

During the review meeting, Dulloo emphasized the need to expedite the remaining work on the project. He suggested several improvements to enhance user experience, including the development of a comprehensive user manual, the capability for multimedia attachments, and additional language options for users. Dulloo also recommended integrating advanced technologies to boost government accessibility and responsiveness.

The BISAG-N team presented a detailed update on the app’s features, highlighting its capabilities such as automatic forwarding of grievances, real-time updates, and multilingual support. The app, which is expected to be fully operational soon, aims to replace the previous JKIGRAMS and CPGRAMS systems, offering a more efficient and user-friendly platform for public grievance redressal.

The review meeting underscored the importance of the timely rollout of JK Samadhan to enhance citizen engagement and improve governance in Jammu and Kashmir.
