Pulwama Police Held PCPG Meeting at GHSS Wasoora Pulwama


November 12: A Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting was successfully conducted at Government Higher Secondary School, wasoora, Pulwama, aiming to strengthen community policing and address local issues collaboratively. The meeting was chaired by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Pulwama, Smt. P. D. Nitya, IPS, with the presence of Sub-divisional police officer (SDPO) Litter Shri. Mudasir Sheikh-JKPS.
During the meeting, various topics of community interest were discussed, including the importance of maintaining law and order, addressing local grievances, briefed and educated on new criminal laws and enhancing cooperation between the police and the community. The meeting saw gathering of govt school students, Principal GHSS Wasoora, Teachers, Youth, and respectable Citizens of Wasoora village.
SSP Pulwama emphasized the significance of community engagement in ensuring a safe and secure environment. She assured the residents that their concerns would be addressed promptly and urged them to cooperate with the police in their efforts to maintain peace and order.
SDPO Litter also addressed the gathering, highlighting the measures being taken by the police to tackle crime and ensure public safety. They encouraged the community members to share information and work together with the police to create a safer Pulwama.
The meeting concluded with a pledge to continue these collaborative efforts, reinforcing the commitment of Pulwama Police to serve and protect the community with dedication and integrity
