Partly Decomposed Body of Missing Srinagar Woman Found in South Kashmir

Srinagar,Oct 26,A partly decomposed body of a missing Srinagar woman, who had disappeared in south Kashmir along with a man, was recovered from a river near Hutmoru, which is around one kilometre downstream from Aharbal, said the SDRF Kashmir.

As per the News Agency that the SDRF Kashmir that the SDRF Sub-Component Aharbal retrieved the partly decomposed female dead body in the river near Hutmoru, approximately 1 km downstream from Aharbal on Friday.

The dead body was handed over to the local police for further legal procedures, they said.

The ensuing investigation, post recovery of the body, revealed the identity of the deceased as one who had been missing since 30/09/2024 along with a man from Nayid Pora Rainawari, Srinagar, they said.

“It was suspected earlier that they may have committed suicide by jumping into the Aharbal waterfall,” the SDRF Kashmir added.
