Driver dies, as vehicle skidded off road in, Gurez

Bandipora, Sep 08: A man, reportedly the driver of the vehicle, died after his vehicle skidded off the road while traveling from Kashpot to Kilshay Nallah, officials said.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir Bulletin (KB) that a man was killed in a road accident that occurred near Sudi-Kilshay in the Tulail area of Gurez, Bandipora, when a Vitara Brezza vehicle bearing registration number JK02BQ 9944 skidded off the road while traveling from Kashpot to Kilshay Nallah.

He added that the driver, identified as Mohd Abbas Khan (25), son of Ahmadullah Khan, a resident of Barnaie Tulail, sustained serious injuries and passed away on the spot, while the vehicle was heavily damaged in the accident.

Meanwhile, police have taken up the investigation.
