Over flowing drain water enters shops

MENDHAR Heavy rains created a havoc in Mendhar market once again this time as entire rain water got accumulated in the market due to poor drainage system and entered into the shops.
The shopkeepers said that their entire goods were damaged after the rain water which got accumulated due to heavy downpour today entered up to two feet level in the shops.the Shopkeepers against the failure of authorities to construct a proper drainage system in the market despite repeated requests by the residents and shopkeepers of the area,
The President Tata Sumo Union Mendhar Kafeel Khan said people in Mendhar face this problem for years together and the Government never bothered to solve it by constructing a deep drainage system in the area and appealed the District Administration that water logging in the market has become the constant problem and a proper survey should be conducted to divert the rain water.
