Shangus, Nov 18 (TKD): A Gram Sabha was held today at the Block Development Office (BDO) in Shangus under the chairmanship of Advocate Riyaz Ahmed Khan, MLA of Shangus. The meeting witnessed active participation from officials of various departments, headed by BDO Shangus, Mr. Aadil.
The Sabha focused on addressing key developmental issues of the region, with an emphasis on ensuring transparency and inclusivity in public welfare programs.MLA Shangus Advocate Riyaz Ahmed Khan, in his address, stressed the importance of grassroots-level governance and urged officials to work collectively to meet the aspirations of the local populace.
Officials from multiple departments presented updates on ongoing projects and future initiatives. Residents raised concerns about road connectivity, healthcare, and employment, which were noted by the chair for immediate redressal.
The Gram Sabha concluded with the promise of improved coordination between the administration and the community for the holistic development of the Shangus block.
