Srinagar, 26th October 2024.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Kashmir unit commemorated Accession Day with a ceremony at the Party Headquarters at Jawahar Nagar Srinagar. The event brought together party workers, Senior leaders, and citizens to honor this significant day in the history of Jammu and Kashmir.

BJP General Secretary (Org) Jammu and Kashmir, Ashok Koul, graced the occasion, emphasizing the importance of Accession Day as a reminder of the Union Territory’s commitment to unity and integrity within India. Koul highlighted the significance of Maharaja Hari Singh’s decision to accede to India in 1947 and underscored BJP’s dedication to preserving the cultural heritage and historical legacy of Jammu and Kashmir.

Party members expressed a shared commitment to advancing the vision of a united and prosperous Jammu and Kashmir. The ceremony included patriotic addresses and reflections on the role of the people of Jammu and Kashmir in strengthening India’s democratic fabric.
