Man Injured in Bear Attack at Traji Ahlan Gadool, Kokernag

ANANTNAG | July 12: A 55-year-old man sustained injuries after being attacked by a wild bear in the Traji Ahlan Gadool area of Kokernag in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

The victim, identified as Mohad Shreef Malik, was rushed to the Sub District Hospital (SDH) Kokernag where he is currently receiving treatment. Medical officials are closely monitoring his condition.

The incident has sparked concern among residents, who have urged authorities to take necessary steps to prevent such wildlife encounters in residential areas.
