Sakina Itoo Reviews Amarnath Yatra 2025 Arrangements in Ganderbal

Ganderbal, June 16 (JKNS):Dr. Sakina Itoo, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister for Health & Medical Education, School Education, Higher Education, and Social Welfare, on Monday conducted a comprehensive review of arrangements for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra 2025 during her visit to Ganderbal district.

Chairing a high-level meeting with senior district officials and representatives from key departments, Dr. Itoo assessed the preparedness across various sectors including health services, sanitation, logistics, and security.

She stressed the importance of inter-departmental coordination to ensure a smooth, safe, and spiritually fulfilling experience for all pilgrims.

“The government is fully committed to providing a peaceful and secure pilgrimage. Every department must work in tandem to ensure top-notch hospitality, timely medical support, and sanitation along the route,” Dr. Itoo stated.

The Minister also directed concerned departments to remain on high alert during the yatra period and ensure the availability of essential services, including emergency healthcare, power supply, and drinking water facilities at all camps and transit points.

She praised the local administration for their proactive approach and urged them to maintain high standards in service delivery to uphold the sanctity and reputation of the annual pilgrimage.

The Amarnath Yatra 2025 is expected to witness a significant influx of devotees from across the country, and the administration is making elaborate arrangements to cater to their needs. (JKNS)
