Former Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina Arrives in India Amid Political Unrest

In a dramatic turn of events, former Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina, arrived at the Indian Air Force’s Hindon airbase near Delhi. The arrival was confirmed by ANI, citing sources. The C-130 aircraft, with the call sign AJAX1431, carried Hasina and her sister, who reportedly fled Bangladesh amid escalating political tensions.The Bangladesh Air Force plane was monitored by Indian security agencies as it approached the border, flying over Patna and being tracked near the Uttar Pradesh-Bihar border. The situation in Bangladesh remains tense, with the country’s military chief, General Waker-uz-Zaman, announcing plans to consult with the president about forming an interim government following Hasina’s departure.
