Jammu, September 12: Security Forces recovered an AK-47 Rifle along with magazine and a hand grenade in Surankote area of Poonch district on Thursday.

Official sources told GNS that the recoveries culiminated during a search operation which ensued after militants fired few rounds at them in Dodi forest area.

They said that the fire from the militants was retaliated following which the militants escaped and a massive operation was launched.

During the searches, they said that an AK-47 rifle along with magazine, a hand grenade, a blanket and some dry fruits were recovered.

” The searches are going on in the area,” they added.
