Teenage Boy Drowns in Power Canal in Ganderbal

Srinagar, Apr 04 (KB): A seventeen-year-old boy has drowned in power canal at Haknar Fraw in Ganderbal, an official said on Friday morning.The official told news agency Kashmir Bulletin that a youth accidently slipped into power canal this morning. “Soon after the incident, a search operation by Police, SDRF and locals, has been launched at the site,” the official said.The official identified the drowned boy as Junaid Ahmad Khattana (17), son of Abdul Wahid Khattana, a resident of Fraw Ganderbal.

The search operation continued, when this report was being filed. (KB)
