Srinagar: At least two women were injured in a mysterious blast in Keegam Kandi area in Kupwara district.

As learnt by Alfaaz – The Words, two women sustained injuries after they accidently overstepped on some explosive, while they had gone to nearby forests to collect firewood.

The injured duo identified as Nahida Begum, wife of Farooq Ah Gojar and Afroza Begum wife of Gh Hassan Gojar – both from Gujjerpati Keegam Kupwara.

The injured women were immediately taken to a nearby hospital from where one, Nahida Begum, was referred to a Srinagar hospital for preferential treatment.
