Breakthrough in Pahalgam Terror Attack Case: Police Arrest Key Aide Behind April 22 Assault

Srinagar: In a significant development in the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack case, Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested an individual accused of providing logistical support to the assailants, NDTV reported on Wednesday.

The accused, identified as Mohammad Kataria, was apprehended after forensic analysis of weapons and equipment seized during Operation Mahadev in July. That operation had resulted in the elimination of three attackers on the outskirts of Srinagar, who were linked to the killing of 26 civilians at Baisaran Valley, a popular tourist destination near Pahalgam.

Officials said the arrest marks a major breakthrough in dismantling the support network behind the deadly attack.
