
Srinagar, March 26: In a significant political development, over a hundred activists and youths from the Zadibal constituency joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Srinagar. The joining event, held at Church Lane, witnessed the presence of J&K BJP President Sat Sharma and General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul, who welcomed the new entrants into the party by presenting them with BJP patkas.
Several senior BJP leaders, including J&K BJP Vice-President Sofi Yousuf, Publicity Secretary (Kashmir) Arif Raja, BJP District President Srinagar Adv Sheikh Salman, Minority Morcha President Ch. Roshan, Media Incharge Kashmir Sajid, Rakesh Koul, and Dr. Ashok, attended the event, which was organized by Suhail Ahmad, BJP Constituency President Zadibal.
Welcoming the new members, Sat Sharma emphasized BJP’s commitment to development, good governance, and stability in Jammu and Kashmir.
“The participation of youth in BJP is a strong indication of the trust people have in our vision of progress. The party will continue working for the betterment of every section of society,” he stated.
He further added that under the principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas,” BJP has earned the confidence of the people, and Jammu & Kashmir can only move forward under the party’s leadership.
Ashok Koul highlighted BJP’s growing influence in the region, stating that the party’s policies and leadership have gained widespread acceptance.
“BJP’s reach is expanding across Jammu and Kashmir because people believe in our vision for inclusive growth and youth empowerment. The mass joining today reaffirms that BJP is the future of J&K,” he said.
Sofi Yousuf described the event as another milestone in BJP’s growing footprint in the Union Territory, while Adv Sheikh Salman encouraged the new entrants to strengthen the party at the grassroots level.
Meanwhile, Suhail Ahmad assured senior BJP leaders of his commitment to working for the welfare of society under the party’s leadership.
The development comes as BJP gears up for the upcoming elections in Jammu and Kashmir, with the party focusing on expanding its base across the region.
