Hiranagar Encounter: 7-Year-Old Girl Injured, Hospitalized

4-5 Terrorists Believed Trapped

Kathua, Mar 23 (JKNS): A 7-year-old girl was injured in an ongoing encounter between security forces and terrorists in the Sanyal area of Hiranagar, area of Kathua district.

Official sources told news agency JKNS that during the ongoing operation, a 7-year-old girl sustained minor injuries.

She was immediately shifted to hospital where she is currently undergoing treatment and is reported to be stable.

Sources further said that 4-5 armed terrorists are believed to be trapped in the cordoned area.

Security forces have intensified the operation, with intermittent exchange of fire is continuing.
