Four Labourers Injured by Rolling Stone at Pishu Top, Pahalgam

Pahalgam, June 16, 2024 – Four labourers sustained injuries after being struck by a rolling stone at Pishu Top in Pahalgam, Anantnag district, on Sunday evening, according to official sources.

The injured have been identified as:

  • Tariq Ahmad Khan, son of Noor Mohd Khan, resident of Hyhama Kupwara
  • Tanveer Ahmad Khatana, son of Mehboob Ahmad Khatana, resident of Awoora Kupwara
  • Naseer Ahmad Bajad, son of Abdul Hamid Bajad, resident of Magam Handwara
  • Jahangir Ahmad Cheechi, son of Mohd Shafi Cheechi, resident of Tarthpora Kupwara

Following the incident, all four were evacuated to the Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Pahalgam. Tariq Ahmad Khan and Tanveer Ahmad Khatana were later referred to SKIMS Soura in Srinagar for further treatment, while Naseer Ahmad Bajad and Jahangir Ahmad Cheechi remain at PHC Pahalgam receiving medical care.
