Teenager Electrocuted to Death in Shopian

Shopian, 27 Aug (KB): A teenager, aged about 15 years, was electrocuted to death in the Vehil area of Shopian on Tuesday, officials said.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir Bulletin (KB) that the teenager was killed in Shopian after receiving an electric shock, which left him critically injured.

He added that the teenager, later identified as Javaid Ahmad Khan, son of Ab Salam Khan, a resident of Vehil, Shopian, was rushed to District Hospital Shopian for treatment, where he was declared brought dead on arrival.

Moreover, further investigation has been initiated.
