
Humhama, Budgam – A sense of pride and patriotism filled the air as BSF recruit constables marched in the passing out parade, showcasing the strength and discipline of India’s Border Security Force. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, attending the event, lauded the BSF’s unwavering commitment as the “first line of defence” in safeguarding India’s borders and addressing security challenges across Jammu and Kashmir.
Demonstrations by BSF units underscored their preparedness and capability, reinforcing the BSF’s role in maintaining peace and security. In his address, LG Sinha highlighted the importance of a “whole-of-government approach” to eradicate terrorism and its ecosystem, pledging continuous, coordinated action to dismantle terrorist networks and support structures in the Union Territory.
“Our determination is steadfast, and we are committed to rooting out terrorism,” stated LG Sinha, emphasizing the government’s resolute stance on restoring lasting peace in Jammu and Kashmir.
