Teenager Found Dead By Hanging In Ganderbal

Ganderbal, June 16, 2024 – A 17-year-old girl was found dead by hanging at her maternal grandfather’s house in Rayil Gund, Ganderbal district, on Sunday evening.

Reports indicate that the young girl, whose identity has been withheld, was discovered hanging and was immediately rushed to a nearby medical facility, where doctors pronounced her dead on arrival.

The reasons behind her tragic decision remain unclear. Local authorities, including the Gund police, have initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. Further details will be released as the investigation progresses.
