Man Injured In Mysterious Blast At Mendhar Poonch

Poonch, August 16(GNS) A 45 Year-Old man was injured in a mysterious blast in Mendhar Sector of Poonch district on Friday.

Officials told GNS that a man who was grazing his cattle near Mendhar Sector ahead of fence was injured after a mysterious blast took place.

He suffered injuries in his right leg, he was immediately given first aid by the army, who then shifted him to nearby hospital for treatment where from he was referred to army hospital Rajouri for specialised treatment.

He has been identified as Mohammad Safeer (45) son of Khadam Hussain resident of Deri Dabsi Mendhar. Locals have appreciated for the timely help from army in shifting the injured person to army hospital.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been takenup.(GNS)
