Anantnag, 13th September 2025 — To mark the death anniversary of Dy. SP Shaheed Humayun Muzammil Bhat, Anantnag Police organised a special tribute by offering drinking water to commuters and the general public across various locations in the district.
This humble initiative was undertaken to honour the supreme sacrifice of Shaheed Dy. SP Humayun Muzammil Bhat, who laid down his life in the line of duty with unmatched courage and commitment. Personnel from Anantnag Police set up water distribution points at key traffic junctions and public areas, where drinking water was offered to pedestrians, travellers, and motorists.
The gesture not only commemorated the memory of the brave officer but also symbolised the spirit of service, compassion, and dedication that he stood for. Citizens appreciated the thoughtful act and remembered the fallen hero with deep respect and admiration.
Anantnag Police remains steadfast in its resolve to honour its martyrs and engage in community-oriented initiatives that foster unity, remembrance, and public goodwill.
