“‘Nicky’ is Nicolatte. That’s what my family calls me. That’s home. ‘Fire’ is me. My mom said it first: ‘Your personality is fire — put it in your name.’ Nicky Fire = Identity. Passion. Power.”

THE ROOTS

Proudly Zimbabwean, Portuguese, and Mozambican. Raised with love and strong values. At 13, she moved to Canada. Big change. But music stayed. From school choir to hip-hop, she found her voice. “Rap is storytelling. It’s confidence. It’s how I share my story, my culture, and who I am.” In 2024, she stepped in as a recording artist. And she’s just warming up.

THE MIND + THE HUSTLE

Bilingual in French and English. Certified personal trainer. Licensed esthetician. “I wanted to understand strength, beauty, and confidence. Those lessons are now in my music and in the brand I’m building.”

THE INSPIRATION

Her own journey comes first. Then the legends: LL Cool J, Missy Elliott, Eve, Remy Ma, Trina. Then Africa’s own: AKA, Stogie T. “They proved African artists can own hip-hop globally. They opened doors. I’m walking through them.”

New music. A debut album. Cinematic visuals. Goal: Sign with a major label and take her sound worldwide. “I’m creating music that crosses cultures and generations.”
