‘Sgr-Leh highway blocked, Officials reach spot to assess damage’

Srinagar,Aug 04 :Several villages in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district

Eye-witnesses told news agency-Kashmir News Corner (KNC) that many roads and crops also suffered damage due to massive cloud burst in Kangan, Ganderbal.

As per locals, cloud burst affected Cherwa,Kawcharan, and Padabal villages creating a widespread impact which resulted in the closure of Srinagar-Leh national highway.

Meanwhile, officials from the district administration have reached the spot to assess the damage and to take stock of the situation.
