Major General Kaushik Mukherjee, GOC 25 Infantry Division visit filled the hearts of the youth of the border belt with indomitable passions!

The message from the General was clear ‘serving my generation with excellence will in turn mean my generation can lead with excellence!’

‘Ever since independence the Indian Military have maintained and followed the golden principle that great leadership is a reflection of honest service!’ That is why they are the best in the world!’

-‘ The GOC 25 Infantry Division motivated the youth to work hard for securing their future and also cautioned them to be wary of pitfalls of drug abuse and propaganda spread by the anti national elements. We all are committed and will continue to work together for maintaining a conductive environment of peace and prosperity in the region!

‘We know that the ties that bind younger generations to the broader community are reciprocal, that is, when young people feel that the community cares about them and that they have a say in community affairs, they are more likely to identify with the community’s goals and to want to commit to its service. That is what the youth of Poonch are trying to get at and have set upa pace of their own to reach the pinnacle and attain they have set for themselves!’

-‘Of late the endeavor of the Indian Army has been to develop the youth especially the underprivileged so the keep up with the hectic pace which has been set by the young men in the rest of the nation, in fact as a matter of fact all over the globe!’

-‘Young people don’t always do what they’re told, but if they can pull it off and do something wonderful. That is the exceptional talent of the youth and there was plenty to see in the youth and cultural festival organized in Poonch!’

-Speaking on the occasion,Major General Kaushik Mukherjee, GOC 25 Infantry Division appreciated the youth and local populace for such a scintillating display of talent in the border area of Poonch. He assured the gathering that the Indian Army is always standing strongly behind the aspirations of Awaam for peace and prosperity in the region.

-‘It is time for parents to teach young people early on that in diversity there is beauty and there is strength. Yes the kids in the border belt have gone through courtesy the neighboring country and some extraordinarily insane spoiled brats but now the horizons on the Pirpanjals look very clear and pleasant, for the last three decades they were dark and murky!’

The show organized and the visitd the General:

-Indian Army, Bhimber Gali Brigade under the aegis of ‘Ace of Spades Division, organized a mega cultural festival in Mendhar town of District Poonch(J&K) from 25 November 2024.

-Indian Army continues to encourage youth and facilitating the local populace to celebrate the cultural vibrancy in the region.

  • Ace of Spades Division came out with a unique initiative to provide a platform for the energetic youth from schools and colleges to display their talent, promote the avenues of entrepreneurship and spread awareness about various employment opportunities.

-On the final day of the mega cultural festival, Major General Kaushik Mukherjee, GOC 25 Infantry Division graced the occasion in presence of senior army officials and dignitaries from civil administration.
