Stray Dog Leaves 9 Persons Injured in Ganderbal

Srinagar, Feb 26 (KB): At least nine persons were injured in a dog bite incident on Wednesday, in Wakura area in Ganderbal.

Reports reaching news agency Kashmir Bulletin said that a stray dog went on a rampage, and attacked the people in Wakura area. The canine in a short span of time left nine people with injuries, who were later taken to different hospitals for treatment.

Medical Officer Dr. Rabiya confirming the incident to Kashmir Bulletin, said that the victims were initially received at PHC Wakura, from where several of them were taken to DH Ganderbal and SMHS Hospital.

“The patients are being administered with necessary treatment for their early recovery,” the medical officer added. (KB)
