BJP Leaders Visit Kangan to Condole Ex-MLA Faqir Mohammad Khan’s Demise

Ganderbal, March 25: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K UT President Sat Sharma (CA) and General Secretary (Org) Ashok Koul visited Kangan to offer their condolences to the family of former MLA Faqir Mohammad Khan, a veteran BJP leader who passed away at his official residence in Tulsibagh, Srinagar.

The BJP leadership traveled to Wooder Kangan in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district to express solidarity with Khan’s family. Faqir Mohammad Khan, who previously served as MLA from Gurez, was known for his contributions to the party and the region.

Speaking to the media, BJP J&K UT President Sat Sharma termed Khan’s demise a significant loss not just for the BJP but for the entire Jammu and Kashmir region. He assured that a fair probe would be conducted into the circumstances surrounding his death.

“The Bharatiya Janata Party stands firmly with the bereaved family in this hour of grief and extends its deepest condolences to the loved ones of the deceased,” Sat Sharma said.

The BJP leaders were accompanied by senior party functionaries from the state and district units, who also paid their respects to the late leader.
