Ganderbal, Feb 06 : A public servant in the office of Rural Development Department (RDD) Block Gund, Ganderbal, was arrested for demanding and accepting a bribe.An official told news agency JKNS that public servant in the office of Rural Development Department (RDD) Block Gund, Ganderbal, was arrested for demanding and accepting a bribe Rs 3000.Adding that, the accused had been demanding a bribe of Rs10,000 from the complainant in exchange for uploading documents required for the release of payments related to a work completed under the MG NREGA Scheme at Kulmohar Qalwat, Ganderbal, official said.Adding that, the trap was successfully laid and the accused was apprehended red-handed while he was accepting the bribe amount of Rs. 3000 at the RDD office in Block Gund, Ganderbal.
