Youth Fatally Stabbed While Resisting Robbery in Qazigund’s Sangran Village

Qazigund, July 18 (TKD): In a shocking and heartbreaking incident, a 28-year-old youth was brutally stabbed to death during a robbery attempt at his residence in Sangran area of Qazigund in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

According to sources, the tragic incident occurred in the early hours of Friday when an alleged thief broke into the home of Zahid Ahmad Banday, son of Mohammad Yaseen Banday, in Kishgund Sangran village. Zahid, while trying to resist the intruder, was fatally attacked with a sharp weapon.

“He sustained grievous injuries and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, the doctors declared him brought dead,” a relative of the deceased said with anguish.

Police have registered a case in the matter, and further investigation is underway. The shocking murder has sent shockwaves through the local community, with residents demanding swift justice for the slain youth…(TKD)
