Srinagar, June 15: Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq has extended warm greetings to the Muslim World on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.
Amidst the current challenging circumstances in Jammu and Kashmir, Mirwaiz emphasized the importance of adhering to the teachings of the Quran and Hadith as the solution to prevailing difficulties.
Reflecting on the profound sacrifices of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and his son Prophet Ismail (AS), Mirwaiz underscored the timeless significance of their devotion and sacrifice, urging the Islamic community to uphold these values.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq urged celebrants to observe Eid-ul-Adha with simplicity and in accordance with Islamic traditions. He encouraged reaching out to the less fortunate members of society, emphasizing the importance of altruism and communal solidarity.
In his statement, Mirwaiz called upon all to embrace the spirit of sacrifice and compassion, particularly during these challenging times, as a means to seek the blessings and satisfaction of Allah Almighty.
