Sopore Bike Collision Injures Five, Including Toddler

SRINAGAR: A collision between two motorcycles near the 22-RR Camp in Zaloora Harwan, Sopore area of Baramulla district, resulted in five injuries on Monday evening.

An official reported that the bikes, with registration numbers JK05K-1037 and JK09A-8249, collided, injuring both riders and their pillion passengers. The injured have been identified as Saqlain Shabir Bhat (23), Tawfeeq Shafi Bhat (19-20), Farhath Rashid Bhat (18), Mehraj Ud din Mir, and Hazim Mohi-ud-din Beigh (3), all residents of Harwan, Bungam Langate, and Zaloora.

According to an official from GMC Handwara, all injured individuals were initially transported to District Hospital Handwara for treatment. Hazim Mohi-ud-din Beigh was later referred to Barzulla Hospital, Srinagar due to a suspected fracture, while Mehraj Ud din Mir was sent to SMHS Hospital for further care.
