Renowned Writer Sheikh Sameer Felicitated at “Chai pe Charcha” Event in Srinagar

Srinagar, July 19: Saving the Future NGO organized an impactful “Chai pe Charcha” program at Hotel Samci Rivera, Rajbagh, focusing on nation-building, environmental conservation, and skill education to tackle unemployment in Kashmir.

Renowned writer and Editor of The Kashmir Dialogues, Sheikh Sameer, was felicitated for his contributions to environmental awareness through his writings. The event was presided over by Advocate Syed Junaid Sadaat and graced by Ms. Nuzhat Gul, Secretary of the J&K Sports Council, as Chief Guest.

A distinguished panel including Dr. Touseef Ahmed, Bilquis Mir, Farzana Mumtaz, Dr. Shafiya Yaseen Wani, Dr. Gazallah Abdullah, and others shared insights. Senior journalist Rameez Makhdoomi moderated the sessions.

The NGO pledged to continue initiatives fostering youth empowerment, environmental protection, and skill development across the region.
