Ceasefire Violation by Pakistan Army Triggers Tension in Krishna Ghati Sector

April 1, 2025: A mine blast occurred in the Krishna Ghati sector along the Line of Control (LoC) due to an intrusion by the Pakistan Army. The incident was followed by unprovoked firing and a ceasefire violation by Pakistan forces, prompting a swift and controlled response from Indian troops.

The Indian Army effectively retaliated in a calibrated manner, ensuring that the situation remained under control. The incident is being closely monitored to prevent any further escalation.Reaffirming its commitment to peace, the Indian Army emphasized the importance of adhering to the Director Generals of Military Operations (DGsMO) understanding of 2021, which was established to maintain stability and prevent ceasefire violations along the LoC.
