10-year-old non local boy drowns in river Jehlum at Donipora Anantnag

Srinagar, Aug 13 : A ten-year-old non local boy drowned in river Jehlum while taking a bath at Donipora, official sources said Tuesday.

They said that a boy identified as Munirul S/O Bablu R/O Assam at present Donipora drowned in river Jehlum at Donipora while taking a bathing. “Rescue operation has started to fish him out.

It is not clear whether he is alive or dead,” sources told news agency—Kashmir News Corner (KNC), adding that locals and the police have started rescue operation in the area
