Govt Rejects Waheed Para’s Bill on Regularisation of Daily Wagers; PDP MLAs Walk Out

Jammu, Apr 1 (KNC): The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Wednesday rejected a private member’s bill moved by PDP MLA Waheed-ur-Rehman Para seeking regularisation of daily wagers in the Legislative Assembly.

As per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, Following the rejection of the bill, all PDP legislators staged a walkout from the House in protest, expressing strong resentment over the government’s stance.

The bill had aimed at addressing long-pending demands of daily wagers working across various departments, who have been seeking regularisation and job security for years. (KNC)
