Terrorist Attack In Ganderbal: NIA Investigates

GANDERBAL: A National Investigation Agency (NIA) team arrived on Monday to investigate the killing of a doctor and six labourers in Gagangir, Ganderbal district. The attack occurred late Sunday at a tunnel construction site along the Srinagar-Leh highway.

The NIA team, led by a Superintendent of Police from the Union Territory’s regional branch, visited the site where terrorists opened fire on workers as they returned to camp. Two labourers died instantly, while others succumbed later to their injuries. Five people are still receiving treatment.

Officials described the incident as a targeted killing, with at least two terrorists suspected of involvement. The attack has sparked concerns over security in the region.
