DC administrated Rashtriya Ekta pledge among participants
GANDERAL, OCTOBER 29: In a spirited observance of National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas), the District Administration Ganderbal today organized the ‘Run for Unity’ event, attracting participants from all walks of life.
The run, symbolizing the importance of unity, commenced from Qamaria Ground and concluded at the Mini Secretariat Ganderbal which was led by Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Shyambir, SSP Ganderbal, Wasim Qadri along with the Additional District Development Commissioner, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Gulzar Ahmad besides other District and Sectoral Officers.
On the occasion, the DC led the administration of the Rashtriya Ekta pledge, reaffirming the district’s commitment to promoting peace, unity, and the values upheld by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Participants, who included students, local youth, government officials, and members of civil society, pledged to uphold the spirit of unity and integrity of the nation.
Addressing the participants, the DC praised the enthusiasm of the participants and highlighted the essential role each citizen plays in fostering national integrity. Through events like ‘Run for Unity,’ the district reaffirms its dedication to promoting harmony, solidarity, and an inclusive society, he added.
The District Administration expressed gratitude to all participants and supporters of the event for their active involvement and commitment to the cause of unity.
