In a devastating incident on the night of October 18-19, a fire in Sarmarg, DK Marg, completely destroyed two houses and a cowshed, displacing four families. The affected families have been identified as those of Muzafar Ah Malik, Ab Rashid Malik, Khurshid Ahmad Malik, and Mohd Ayoub Malik.
Local residents are calling on the district administration for urgent assistance to support the families as they cope with this significant loss. Community aid is essential for helping these families begin to rebuild their lives.
In response, Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan, has instructed all relevant departments to assess the damage and provide immediate relief to the victims.
