Srinagar, August 23: Senior Awami Itihaad Party (AIP) leader and District Development Council (DDC) Member from Mawar, Khursheed Ahmad Dar has called for urgent relief measures following the recent earthquake that has heavily impacted the Langate area.
Khursheed Ahmad Dar stressed the need for a thorough and immediate damage assessment in Langate, urging the Lieutenant Governor’s administration to take swift action in providing relief to those affected. “The Langate area has been significantly impacted by the earthquake, leaving many families in a vulnerable state. It is imperative that the LG administration promptly conducts a detailed damage assessment and ensures that relief reaches every affected household,” Dar stated.
He emphasized that the affected residents in Langate constituency are in dire need of assistance, including shelter, food and medical support. “The administration must act quickly to deliver essential aid to the people of Langate constituency, who are currently facing immense hardship due to the earthquake,” Dar added.
Khursheed Ahmad Dar’s appeal reflects AIP’s commitment to the welfare of the people in Jammu and Kashmir, particularly in times of crisis. The party is actively working with local communities in Langate to assess the situation and provide support, reinforcing its role as a responsive and responsible political force in the region.
