Prominent JKNC Social Media Analyst Ishrat Ahmad Bhat Joins BJP in Srinagar

Srinagar, June 26: In a significant political development, Ishrat Ahmad Bhat, a prominent Social Media Analyst and Youth Leader associated with the Jammu Kashmir National Conference (JKNC), has formally joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Srinagar. His induction into the BJP was marked by a welcoming ceremony led by District President Srinagar, Ashok Bhat.

Ashok Bhat underscored the importance of Ishrat Ahmad Bhat’s decision to join the BJP, highlighting the party’s commitment to fostering peace, prosperity, and development in the Kashmir valley. He expressed confidence in the BJP’s governance track record, stating, “The growing presence of BJP in Kashmir reflects the effective governance under our leadership. Kashmiri youth recognize that their aspirations are best served with the BJP. Our progress aligns with the advancement of Jammu and Kashmir.”

State Co-Convenor of the J&K BJP Media Department, along with Media Incharge for Kashmir, Adv Sajid Yousuf Shah, warmly welcomed Ishrat Ahmad Bhat into the party fold. They emphasized the BJP’s ongoing expansion across all regions of Jammu and Kashmir, highlighting a shift away from dynastic politics towards a focus on inclusive growth and development.

“The increasing disillusionment with dynastic politics has fueled a wave of support for BJP’s agenda in Jammu and Kashmir,” stated Adv Sajid Yousuf Shah, reflecting on the changing political landscape in the region.
