Srinagar Police Submit Chargesheet Against 7 Terror Aides in Khanyar Case

Srinagar, Feb 03: The Srinagar Police have filed a chargesheet against seven individuals accused of terror-related activities under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) in a Srinagar court.

The chargesheet is linked to FIR No. 31/2024, registered at Khanyar Police Station, invoking Sections 13, 18, 20, 23, and 38 of the UAPA, alongside Section 7/25 of the Arms Act.

The case involved eight accused persons, including a Pakistani terrorist, identified by the code name Usman, who was killed in an encounter with security forces.

While charges have been formally presented against the seven surviving accused, an abate challan has been filed concerning the deceased Pakistani terrorist.
