Porter Who Was Critically Injured After Recieving Electric Shock, Succumbs In Poonch

Jammu, April 24(GNS): The Military Engineering Services (MES) Causal porter who was critically injured after he recieved electric shock, succumbed in a hospital in Poonch district on Thursday.

Officials told GNS that a Military Engineering Services (MES) casual Porter at Seklu Garrison came accidentally in contact with high-voltage electric line while carrying routine work.

He was immediately shifted to nearby hospital for treatment, where the injured person succumbed. He has been identified as Naveen Sharma son of Tilak Raj resident of Sunder Bani Rajouri.

Earlier, Officials told GNS that army will make best ever possible effort to provide him the best available medical care. The army is also in touch with his family and has assured them of complete medical, financial support.(GNS)
